Streaming Device

Good afternoon,
I am hoping to gain a little insight on a device that was discovered on a family members television. It is a streaming device, but with no information as to the manufacturer. There is a dashboard when you switch to HDMI1 on the tv showing available apps, but no indication of the brand, and the remote buttons on the tv remote do not work, and without knowing the manufacturer, we cannot order a replacement.

Agree with Ken.F. Do you have access to a USB wireless keyboard/mouse? A couple years ago a co-worker gave me a MiBox. Similar Android streaming device. Used the USB wireless mouse no problem until the box died. The keyboard/mouse is still what I use to this day for streaming devices over a remote. Good luck. A lot of apps just are easier to navigate this way.

I'd think there would have to be some sort of label, at least with FCC info, that might also help narrow down what it is.
