Starz drops Counterpart

Starz now a Lionsgate property, has not only cancelled Counterpart for a third season, but has decided to pull all episodes from their streaming channel without warning. If you haven't finished watching the series, you are screwed.

Another chapter of the streaming blackhole, you can usually buy episodes of a series, but increasingly subscription services are not picking up streaming rights to shows like they used to. Kind makes a case for an ott service with a dvr vs. vod only. VOD really does take control away from you.

Since they failed to allow me to finish the series, I asked for a refund. They apologized, but since I get Starz through my service provider, I had to forwarded their response to Directv and was provided a pro rated credit for the time I spent viewing the series.
