I thought most people who frequent the AVS Forums knew by now that most 4K discs are upscaled and not native 4K.

It only goes to prove that contrast, color spacing and depth are paramount when it comes to producing the best quality picture. It's not a matter of greater picture resolution per say, since our eyes are finite when it comes to the perception of detail. It is a matter of providing more data, which can only be achieved by adding more pixels.

Not my eyes.


That said I may even upgrade my current 4K TV (only about three years old) come fall to an HDR version. But my computer monitor has 24-bit color (so does yours) which is even better.
