Talking Thumbs up

I watched it with my wife and kids and got a great kick out of it. I also enjoyed Kick Ass, so the similarities were welcomed. The next night my wife and kids insisted we watch it again. I think we are up to about 4 viewings now. Good fun.

Come on Frank, you've got a great audio system. The closing credits music is one of my favorite parts of movie night. The wife and I sit through to the very end on most films just basking in the usually fantastic audio. It's the films music directors time to shine and they usually do.

Thanks Rob.
Problem is for me I watch movies very late at night ( family is sleeping ) and I gotta get up early for work next morning.

We all do Frank we all do.
And if we don't it's because we worked real hard all our life and we have time to retire in style. ...With the music @ the closing credits.

Thanks for the great review, Ralph!

This blu-ray package was delivered yesterday and I ended up watching it last night. The movie was a fun ride all the way, and I enjoyed pretty much everything about it, so I'll undoubtedly be watching it again very soon.

We enjoy every minute of it.
A very fun ride, for not taking it self seriously but very well done for picture and sound.

Would be even better in 3D!

My wife & I really loved this movie. I thought it was 3D released at the theaters. We would have LOVED to get it in 3D . It really lent itself to it with all the shots lined up as they were. I don't know why many 3D movies are not being released in their 3D versions, but this was a real shame not to release this one.
Having watched this one at home repeatedly, every time I comment on how I would love to watch it in 3D. My only disappointment with it. I do hope they make another. It was great!

Sleeper action flick of the year in my book. I had no expectations for this one, hadn't heard much about it. Watched it last night. Love it, just a terrific action movie. Might be purchasing this one. That is a rarity these days as well!

Personally I think Mad Max is the action film to beat this year. I enjoyed Kingsmen but for me Mad Max is the keeper.

I agree with you. While "Interstellar" didn't bother me, "Kingsman" had such annoying music I constantly wished I could turn it off.

Wow, a lot of strong violence for a movie with a comedic bent. I would have flipped Mark Strong and Samuel L. Jackson. To me, Jackson as a team leader good guy type and Strong as the #1 villain would have been spot on.

Yesterday we watched the film away, it was great! My wife also confirmed that she will review gladly again. I liked most the parachute test. It was nice that he did not put the dog down. Very good movie, very good colors.

What a pleasant surprise. The Kingsman is this year's sleep hit like Guardians of Galaxy from last year. The only thing I would change is the first hour is about 5-10 minutes too long but once it gets into the second hour, it is such a blast to watch..

Just watched it. The movie was great fun for me from beginning to end. The very beginning fight scene was awesome, and the movie started off with a Bond flavor. I agree with another post that said it was a bit of a cross between Austin Powers and Bond flick, directed by Tarrentino with camera views from the matrix.

Do not take this too seriously. I thought it was just great popcorn fun from beginning to end. Ralph's reviews once again drive much of my viewing and he was once again spot on.

On a side note, having my theater room in a detached room above the garage that is connected to the master bedroom by a balcony, allows me to watch at any volume I want at any hour This movie, like many others, must be watched at decent volume to enjoy it in its' entirety. Great audio on this one!

By the way, if you didnt know this was not an all serious movie after the very first fight scene, im not sure what you were watching?

This is in my opinion a movie that should have more following.

Very few movies will I watch again within the same year.
Since my wife is away for the Holidays.
I think, I will revise this one in the next few days
