After some color schemes testing we settled on this one, I think is quite beautiful.
I'm a bit obsessed with reflections, and I'm still not completely sure about the vertical white lines on the columns, but it's a reference to BuckeyeDoc's favorite sports team. And I have to admit it's a very striking look.

That’s awesome, is the Saint Marks Square for sure the decided carpet? This is a real life picture of it for reference.

@Silva741 , I am really liking this one, it's really close to the size I am going with for my room. Would there be enough room to go with a back bar on this one? I have designs with an entry door from the back left or side left depending on how many rows and screen size.

The first attachment is what I have right now. The other are things I have messed around with on an app on my phone to give me an idea how it might look. No where near as nice as yours. I am leaning towards the last one that has three views of it.

I think it isn't yet set in stone. As you know I always advise to get a sample of the carpets and fabrics, to make sure the colors are adequate. BTW, I like your final carpet choice. It's one of the carpets we tested, right?

Yeah it’s one that we tested. It’s the Kane lighthouse I believe?

It's hard to judge just based on those images, but assuming the first row isn't too close to the center of the room, the distance between the first and 2nd rows is enough (at least 78 inches), and you are ready to not have a huge amount of space behind the bar, it should be feasible.

But I think the big question is as always if you'll have often many friends or family around, to justify the extra seats. If it's only a few times per year, it's probably wiser to just have 2 rows.

We tested so many, lol, I'm not sure. But it looks great on your photos. Can't wait to see the room finished.

Not to hijack this thread, but Silva go check out the build thread. I’ve got fabric on the wall!

Hi Silva,

I have just completed framing of a future home theater and would appreciate some help with the layout and renderings. The theater is (LxWxH) 208"x129"x9'. I framed for a double door in the rear of the theater which is 48". There is a closet for the electronics which is 20" deep also in the rear of the theater. We would like to get 2 rows and would like to see the option of narrow loveseat style theater chairs with the walkway in the middle. I am planning for a wall behind the back row with a place for stools to be placed. I could e-mail you the blueprint if that would help.

Thank you!

Let me re-iterate for everyone following this thread. Silva is an awesome person to work with. His work has helped me in more ways than in can explain with my theater build. Remember that this is a journey, not a sprint, so while you are in the stages of designing and conceptualizing, have fun, because before you know it, your concepts with Silva will turn into real life works of art!

BTW whenever my theater is complete, I will share some pictures of Silva’s concepts and try to match them precisely with real life pics, just for fun.

Agreed! Not many theaters showing up in the Completed Theater thread- this is better because we can see so many variations of the same theater. I’m blown away at what he does. Impressive.

Hi

Any chance you can post these two images but from Oklahomies theatre too? I just want to get more of an idea for what that little bit of extra width between them looks like, because it seems like its really worth it from what I can see so far, but I dont remember these exact angles, if you dont mind that would be a cool comparison.

Hi Jawad. Lately I've been modeling quite a few Shawn Byrne's designs, his work is always top-notch. I'll send you an mail.

I forgot to reply to this post, sorry. In any case, seeing those 2 images side-by-side isn't very useful, I'm afraid. For example, the screen walls are quite different, one of them has 45° angles, due to the existence of a sump pump. In this meantime that changed, this weekend I'll try to gather a few images and I'll post here, now the room has a completely straight front wall.

I can't easily make a render of Oklahomaie's room's, though, because in the past few months I upgraded my renderer, and it'd be necessary to go through all the lights, making sure everything is working properly. Still, if you want I can send you a couple screenshots from the viewport (of both rooms), maybe it helps.

This month one of the rooms that kept me busy was juanchbiris theater, we changed the original plan and rotated the room 180° to make the entrance on the front of the room, and simplified the design as much as possible. Partially because Juan likes simplicity, but also because he lives abroad and it isn't possible (or affordable) to do certain things. I'll post below a few images showing the room (without colors).

Don't let the apparent simplicity fool you, though, Juan is going to have some serious bass power, he's building several big subwoofers, for now only inside the back wall, but eventually also under the riser.

Thanks. I promised myself I'd post more often, but there's never enough time, and I'm very lazy.

But I checked your thread last week, and it seems your room is finally progressing! You just need to stop playing poker with your friends, and instead work on your speakers.
(BTW, your poker table looks beautiful, congrats!)

Here are the updated BuckleyeDoc's room I mentioned a few posts above. His acoustic plan required some changes, the room changed very significantly. The front wall no longer has the 45° segments on each side, the columns aren't spaced equally as before, and the back of the room is also quite different, the projector will placed be inside a small AV closet.
