That sounds exactly like mine. My fiance goes on about how she's a sponge.

Only had the room up and running for 2 days and my wife questioned why I put a lock on the theater room door.

Dog food all over the carpet and strips of electrical tape.

Mine is 7 now so she knows better... I love the theatre more than her :P

If only I did love it more than her it would actually be finished.

Mine is currently occupied by three 20 year olds having a LOTR marathon.

I'm mostly concerned about beer and chocolate !

Cheers,

My daughter is 5 but since she was 2yrs old she knows not to come in and touch the screen and speakers. She was banned from touching anything in my games room too. Even our 2 cats are scared to go in there so I have them all trained perfectly 👍😊

Haha

Our girl is cheeky at thr moment. Her smile gets me everytime. I have a mate that had all his tweeters smashed in on his old system. He never knew about it for ages because of the speaker cloth. He reckoned because his daughter was only a new born at the time he wasnt allowed to have it loud so didnt use the system and was rolling with just the onboard tv speakers. He reckons he turned it on and heard crackling and was like wt. F is that!

I used those in my walls and ceiling when I build my theatre. They are great. Also used 13mm soundcheck board all around too.

Any news, or did you fall into the trap of getting it done enough to watch and so it will be a ten year build now?

Using 2x ci200rr-thx in custom 15degree baffle boxes for surrounds. One day I will buy 2 more for rear surrounds. Just need to save some more money first.

Going to build my own speakers. Only reason is I can sell the kefs and use that money to fill out and finish the room sooner rather than wait for some more funds to build up.
The Kefs are great and in my opinion the best in wall speaker around. Two of these would be great in a normal living room either side of the TV.
Anyways will probably stick with them since there is nothing wrong with them and I'm not totally itching to get the room finished.
