Theater Build Picture Heavy

Hey Guys!
Been a member here for a long time. Havent been on the site in a while but Im in the middle of renovating a new property that I bought this year. When I looked at the house I saw there was 10 foot ceilings in the basement so I knew I had to put a theater in. I am doing 150" curved 4k EliteScreens screen with a Sony VPL-HW65ES for now until there is more 4K content. Im also doing all Triad inwall and inceiling speakers. Ill be using a Pioneer Elite receiver for now as well.

Just wanted to share and I am open to opinions and insight as well.

Hey Nice space....

I've just started getting things together for my garage as well

I found the REZ bar a bit of a hassle having 9.5 ft ceilings.....I opted to install a double strip for the mid section of the wall.

I found it hard to catch the steel (FINE THREAD SCREWS) with both edges of the drywall, but I'm NO professional:stuck_out_tongue:

I have only done the wall so far but it takes twice as long then just putting up sheetrock.

The air duct guys should be here today to move some stuff out of the way for me.

Linear slots installed. They pulled down some of my soffit so that has to be rebuilt but it's almost time to wrap this up.

Thanks! All those pictures have been over the last few months. I took a break for the summer and have been working outside. Now that its starting to cool down im back in the theater. Doing 90% of the work myself makes the progress slow.

Lol I forgot to post for the first half of the project had to keep up haha.

Just finished the tough part. Had to tuck the soffit up so I could move the screen higher.

Is that going to taper down?? or be an abrupt drop off??

90 vs. 45 degree
L vs. \

Not sure if that makes sense...
