I have never had an opportunity to experience what true 2-channel can be.. This was by far the best 2 channel system I have ever experienced in my life.

Bob Seger, Fleetwood Mac, and the sorts, were played for demo's, of which, I could not believe the imaging, clarity, and the warmth of the audio of songs we have all heard before.

I was truly astonished by the clarity of the setup.

If you ever have a chance to experience such a system, I'd advise to take much more time than we had available to really enjoy some of the of audio available to us.

Absolutely WOW!
The 2 channel listening I had as a kid and young adult involved a turn table. This is pretty nice though. I still have my speakers and turn table from 1982.

Well, Some exciting releases today.

JVC has released the v3.10 firmware, which includes some key features everyone was excited about at CEDIA.

v3.10 released. - October 9, 2019
・Adds new "Frame Adapt HDR" function
・Support for 16x9 content when using a Panamorph Paladin DCR lens (adds Anamorphic D).
・Adds new presets to screen adjustment function

Dynamic Tone Mapping. ... yay.. unfortunately, I'm not home to be able to check it out, but something to at least look forward to when I do get home.
Also, Toy Story 4 , 4k was released yesterday.. looking to share this with my 4 year old nephew.. that will be cool.

In other news, I was able to stop by @brazensol home theater over the week, and experience the BOSS platform he's built. Brings a whole new feel to the TR in the chair experience. Pretty cools stuff. Was definitely a neighsayer at first, as I already have 12 subs right behind the seats for TR, but after experiencing it first hand, I can definitely see the advantages and draw toward having one of them... I don't know that I will have space for the amps, but definitely I have changed my opinion on having one. Not sure that I can fit one in my setup at the moment.

OK.. trying to figure out the mounting method for the chair feet in the design, similarly to how @brazensol made some for his chairs. Also, to be able to power the additional subs, I'll need to go with 4-ch amp to make it happen, as the space in the rack is used up.

Headed back to the house on the 4th, so looking forward to some of the next projects.

"Project MOAR Chill"
As I originally planned, still working out the details now to add a dedicated HVAC zone into the room to allow for proper dedicated cooling, without chilling out the rest of the house. Currently, the upstairs on a single zone, and causes some serious challenges keeping everyone happy.
To fix the cooling issues, adding a zone controller, along with 3 dampeners and thermostats should solve the issues.
Once complete... the following projects can continue...

"Project MOAR Power"
To continue to power the amplifiers, and to reduce the possibility of tripping breakers during key moments, my plan is to add a 125-amp sub-panel next to the existing house service panel in the garage. Pull back and terminate the existing 3 circuits I pulled during the initial build, and put them into the new sub panel. By doing this, that will open up a double slot spot on the existing 200 amp house panel to install my 125amp breaker to feed the new sub-panel. Once that is done, my plan is to pull 3 more circuits into the room to easily power all the gear.

This should provide all the power i need to run the additional amplifier for ....

"Project MOAR SHAKE"
BOSS platform with 6x JBL GX1200 for each row.. for a total of 12 more 12" subs. Thanks @Little Chris for continuing to fuel my addiction. hehe
Not sure there's going to be any WAF for this, but, hey, thanks to @brazensol demonstrating this, it just makes the total experience complete.

We will see if this is going to get going or not... as some jay-oh-bee challenges at the home front may hinder the progress. Keep you guys posted.

Stay tuned...

Not sure what you are referring to with the chair feet mount thing? If you could explain I might be able to offer advice.

You know if you don't do at least 100 subs you're just not serious!

I need to figure out how to line up my feet pegs when I get back to the house.

I like how you made the blocks, then drilled a hole with a forstner bit. Going to have to investigate the size of the platform, as I'd like it to be pretty close to the footprint of the overall chair dimensions. Less chance of toe stubbing, i think like you did yours.

Also, not sure I have such deep foot bumpers on the bottom of my chairs, so definitely going to have to see if this will work for me.

Since I have the 2 subs behind each chair in a standalone box, I'll have to make sure the fitment still works with everything in place.

Hopefully I can get to this project, as I will have to do Project Chill before I can do anything else.. gotta control the temp in the room.

Gotcha! I made the blocks first then put the chair on the platform, put the blocks under the feet, then traced around the block so I'd know the location. Then I simply glued and screwed the blocks in place after pre-drilling a hole right in the dimple left by the forstner bit. I don't know if the glue was really necessary.

I also cut the platform to size after knowing exactly where the seats would be located.
