Home cinema @ Attic

Hello everyone, what do you think about this project for my Attic, i bought a new home and i have permission of my wife to make my first home cinema

I was thinking on a 7.1.2 Atmos with a 115" screen !

I would like a very clean cinema ! My idea was hiding everything except surround and back speakers !

Can i put the projector behind the wall ? It will have heating problems ?

What is the best solution for the equipament like amplifier, blue ray, mediacenter etc... where can i put them ?

Best regards
Luís

WELCOME

Get the largest screen you can, you will not regret it

Also plan for 9.4.6 taht way when you upgrade and you will then you will not have to drill additional holes in your walls and ceiling

Welcome. Looks like you have a cool idea for your build.

As for hiding your equipment, would it be possible to hide it behind one of the blue "columns"?

What's the size of the room, and what's the ceiling height at the low side of the room?

Why have you jammed all the seating on the back wall, and in the back corners, and right on top of the surround speakers? And is four seats actually needed?

It looks really nice, but won't sound nearly as good as it could.

Could an av rack go outside the theater? What's the purpose of the rooms outside there?

Where's the entry door going?

You may want to add some diffusors into the room to give some ambiance to the surround, otherwise it may sound too dead.

Also, looks like you pulled the seating away from the back wall. Good Choice. Again, helps with the surround envelopment.

I like painted screen detached idea from the main wall. very clever. not sure about the led light on the floor on the short wall.
what's your hardware?
Where are the speakers?

Nice plan. Keep after it.
