Question Bi-Amping JBL Studio 590's

I am looking to Bi-Amp a pair of JBL Studio 590BK from a Pioneer Elite SC-LX801.

Firstly I have never done anything like this before, I have experience in car audio, old 2.0 receiver setups and a 5.1 HT setup.

I am looking to use the 590's as the front left and rights. I am looking to use a 4 conductor cable to each speaker just for ease of wiring. What gauge do you recommend for the 590's, is 12/4 overkill? Secondly how do you go about taking extra unused channels from the amp, and designating them as part of the same LFront and RFront speaker?

to confuse the setup I have a pair of Pioneer Andrew Jones Atmos bookshelf speakers and an old 5.0 klipsch with a Polk Audio PSW505 12-Inch Powered Subwoofer.

Since it's a 9.2 receiver I have an extra set of channel's and I have heard the 590's sound much better with the extra power from Bi-Amping, I just have never done it before.
