Man, this is the coolest thing I've ever seen. Congrats on all of the notoriety for your work on your HT. It is well deserved.

This really should've been encased in carbonite and displayed prominently.

Just starting your thread now, I hope to find that you actually ended up doing this.

Why do all the Star Wars fanbois want an interior modeled after the BAD GUYS!?

(from a Trek fanboi)

I suppose there have been Klingon/Romulan themed theaters, too

@jedi1982

I tried so hard to convince the wife to change the theater to star wars theme, I ended up settling on a star wars entrance (at least I now have somewhere to put all my collectables ). So I thought you might appreciate these pcitures. Also, well done on HT of the month very well deserved

You have a great looking theater to begin with but always amazes me what a professional photographer can do.
Impressive.

Your theater turned out great! You struck a nice balance with your theme without going over the top.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did your theater cost to build?

Also, which package did you choose for the design package when having Shawn design your theater? We're about to break ground on a theater and I am considering utilizing his services

Yes, it makes giving the room an accurate portrayal of what it looks like in real life much easier!

Hi - I was wondering if you could also PM me. I wanted to ask you a few questions about cost and construction, but I'm not allowed to initiate a PM until I have 15 posts. I've been reading/learning from these forums for several years, but have never posted. I'm currently early in the construction phase of a new house with a theater and framing has begun. I'm trying to use a similar construction strategy that you used on your theater (part-DIY, part-builder) and wanted to get your feedback. Thanks!

Hah, no prob. Feel free to PM me but I'd also highly recommend consulting along the way with Jeff Parkinson (BIG) and Shawn Byrne of Quest Acoustical for major design/acoustical questions

Wow, your theater looks GREAT!

I noticed you are using Severtson Cinema White MicroPerf 1.3, how does it work for you, particularly in HDR?

I am seriously looking at the CWMP vice the ST130 MicroPerf X2 and wondered how the pictures and screen gains compare to each other?

Thanks
Ralph
