Thank you! I don’t think it’s too late to add a rubber strip in under the bottom of the framing. I’ll give it a try and lift up on it. As far as the back side of the viewing are it will be dd:dw on the back side with gg. At this point that mechanical room will be too much of a headache to finish. I do plane to run drywall on the ceiling of that room.
