I salute our Immersion professionals: Curt Hoyt to which I am very thankful for positioning my JBL loudspeakers correctly to achieve a very tight bubble and the greatly missed Peter CINERAMAX whose fearless R&D in PRO-RIBBON cinemas, curation of most immersive Kaleidescape scripts and forging ahead to 55 loudspeaker Crystal Led Cinemas will pave the road ahead. And Adam Pelz for bringing the system to jawdropping life!
Sorry did not see this thread. As much as I wanted to finish this year it was not possible. Started the theater in March and had high hopes but doing the whole build myself really eats up time. Plus other projects, work and family. Only have a few items left but should be sometime next month.
Even though it’s not complete everyday I go into the room and just look around. It brings a huge smile to my face that this is all mine. I’m sure others here feel the same.
My seats should arrive end of Jan, so I'd like to have my in-wall LCR and spandex screen built by then. Will need to use the seats to check riser depth and adjust if necessary, as it's a really small room for 2 rows - then have it carpeted and enter "operational theater needing finishing touches" mode.
Thanks for checking on my build! I actually got it finished just before Thanksgiving. Well the room itself is finished, I will still be adding a marquee and poster cases outside of the room when I finish the rest of the basement. My build is called the Art Deco Build but I think I am going to name the room "The Screening Room" on the marquee. Here is a link
