Linacoustic

I have way more Linacoustic left over then I need. I have two 1" layers up with a 3mil air gap. Should I go for a third layer just to use some more up? Is there any added benefit? Any other creative uses?

I like to put it on the ceiling and side walls behind the screen wall, for those in need where are you located?

Also curious where you are located. I'm having hard time sourcing it or something similar in Canada.

If there is a Brock White center in your area they stock it.

I lay any scraps on the floor between the speakers if it isn't thickly carpeted.

Where abouts are you in Canada? I've bought an "equivalent" in Ontario called Manson Insulation ( not related to Charles) I have about 75' of 1" thick up for grabs. Let me know if you are in the Province...

How long does Linacoustic take to off gas? I've had it opened and aired out since last week in my garage and still smells!

Never had that problem, once you unroll it I can't remember ever noticing it after a couple of weeks. You may have a high sensitivity to the Asphalt like smell of the coating. It should go away unless you have a defective roll.

It's only been a week, so I'll give it some more time. It could just be me.
