I agree! I didn't even really think I needed the power headrest but my wife wanted them, now I can't imagine the chairs without it

So spent a ton of time this week working on the platform and testing out the Buttkicker LFE and Clark Silvers.

Some hard work to get the chairs attached the way i wanted them. I decided the easiest way to do it was to put the platform on saw horses, put my chairs on top, get things lined up the way i wanted and drill the holes into the frames. Then get my bolts in the right spots, and finally get everything installed.

See pictures for that process.

I'll write a much more detailed review of the MA's, but in short the Buttkicker LFE is going back, it's no comparison to the Clark's.

Tactile Platform 2.0

So I did have one issue with the platform resonating in the far corners. I didn't have any isolators on the "back" and i found the corners were flexing enough to rattle and make noise. I only originally got 8 of the Hudson's, so did my best to put them under the chais and figured i'd leave the back of the platform to flex to provide more feedback. Well that did work, but worked a little too well. I do have more isolates on the way, once Amazon decides to actually ship them.

So i pulled everything apart today and worked on modifying the platform, getting rid of excess material, but still allowing for a number of configurations with the MA's.

I think it looks a bit like a stealth fighter now, but my wife said Batman, either one is pretty cool.

In a little testing tonight, the resonance issue seems to have been resolved.

I have 2 Clark Gold's coming this week, and i just bought a Crowson from another member on here. So I will have compared a Buttkicker LFE, Clark Silver, Clark Gold and Crowson. That's pretty much everything out there!

Update is due, in addition to a full review on all the various MA's.

I will say this much, i've settled on the Crowson MA's, they are the best hands down. I'm waiting on 3 more units to show up, but have been testing and quite satisfied with the single unit i've been testing with.

Gold's ended up being a bust as the units i received were dead on arrival, so never got to test those over the Silver's.
