Finished the astrophotography acoustic treatments art covers project.
Looking at these I do realize all of a sudden my HT went from a "clean look" to a sorta "busy/cluttered" look, well the stuffed animals on top the acoustic panels, now those are my kids things.
When the lights go off everything disappears except the immersive image and the envelopment audio, but now I'm having 2nd look at room overall aesthetics.
See it's a family HT, and the kids wanted to decorate it, so what the heck it's their memory also, for them to have.
We got the boys to clean up their bedroom, and move the stuffed animals in the HT, after 6-10 months they will go to salvation army....with kids approval.
The rear, yea well so I'm guilty of a little "stuff" there, that's why I built the corner broadband bass traps though, to have a shelf to display my Star Trek and Star Wars "stuff", need to prioritize what to show for a cleaner look.
Possible the pictures on the rear wall need to go....
Again, when the lights go off everything disappears, not like some other HT's that have LED lights around their screen or side wall panels, now IMO that would be a major no-no distraction.
Screen shot, it's a composite:
Rear shot: On the back wall that's Grand Tetons from our campground there 2014 out west trip
Entrance: On the 4 ft wide solid core door that's our home with startrails/fireflies
Left side; First row that's Mesa Verde campground Milky way shot during our 3 week out west camping trip (our campsite, car, trailer, my family was sleeping in there while I took this shot), plus the Lunar eclipse of 2015 from our home at 2 minute time lapse.
The 2nd row gets Star Wars and ST II: TWOK covers.
Right side; Moon at various phases, the 2 big ones are thru my EdgeHD 800 CGEM telescope, the other one is fixed tripod and full moon at 2 minute time lapse
