Stereoscopic Player, HDMI and BitStreaming through Reciever??
I just moved and I need to incorporate my PC room and Home Theater Room into 1 room.. So far all is well and I have my Home theater half setup..
Now, I was wondering since I have Stereoscopic player and a PC with a nVidia 1080GTX, I am trying to determing If I play 3D Blurays with Stereoscopic player on my PC, will I be able to I think the term to Bitstream the Audio to my Integra 40.3 Reciever from the nVidia card HDMI and have the HD Audio come through the reciver.
I tried looking on and doing searches and from what I can tell it should work but I am not 100% sure it will.. So basically here is my setup as is:
1. PC with a i5 7600K @ 4.8GHZ and a 1080GTX vid card.
2. Integra 40.3 Reciever
3. Optoma HD142x 3D Projector
4. PC has a Sound Blaster Z.
I was also thinking I could buy another Soundcard that would do the bitstreaming for me to listen to the HD Audio.. IF I am unable to use the nVidia card with an HDMI cable to bitstream how can I get the PC to use the HD Audio formats through the receiver??
