How to watch Region-Free 3D Bluray discs?

Help please..
I have a Samsung HT-J5530 system (Region-A Bluray Player) bought in Bestbuy Canada.
Is there a way I can watch a Region-B 3D Disc in my player? Or, how can I replace ONLY this player by a Region-Free?
What are all my possible options please?

You can't watch Region B unless you have the player "fixed" to do so. There are companies that sell region free players. Try searching Bing: "Region free blu-ray player" for 220 Electronics.

Edit: My statements might be confusing. When I say Region free Blu-ray player, I really mean a player that can play any region, not that their is a specific player for region-free disks--as Tom point out below...

Well, technically, any player can play "region free blu ray discs", lol. But for locked discs I think they're actually called multi region players. I don't have one, I use one of the many other options.

3D media player box with .iso.
make a new region free disc to back up your authentic disc
digital file MVC, or t/b sbs etc.

This line intentionally left blank.

See my earlier posts re Options for Region Free Players:

Unfortunately, your Samsung HT-J5530 does NOT have a simple sequence of R/C Buttons to enable Region Free capability....and jvbdigital did NOT have a MOD KIT to turn it into a Region Free Player.

So it looks like you will need a NEW Region Free Player....perhaps a 3D and 4K capable Oppo UDP-103:
https://www.worldwidevoltage.com/opp...-players1.html

Or one of the fol. inexpensive 3D BD-Players which Upscales HD to 4K but does NOT play 4K Discs:
https://www.220-electronics.com/regi...ay-player.html
https://www.220-electronics.com/lg-u...240-volts.html

Search function was useless....you'll have to look at each mfr's product individually. BTW: TRY to find a Player that has TWO HDMI Outputs, which can be individually controlled for Stereo to DTV (it's automatically FORCED to Stereo) and the other in Surround to AVR:

Thank you so much for such a valuable information.
Looks like even if I buy a region free player again I need to replace my entire Speaker system as this specific Samsung model has got speaker sockets compatible only for this.
Any other ideas or I am missing something please...

If you really must play Region B then you could use your optical input to drive sound to your speakers although you would be limited to 5.1. So this is not replacing your existing player but having an additional player as well.

Works rather well for me having one player setup for region B and one for A. Note that you have to be careful with the player you get. With my LG 4K region free player I bought from 220electronics there was no menu option to output 5.1 over optical so I had to buy more stuff to trick the HDMI to enable 5.1 since projector was reporting stereo. I sort of like having two players. Less wear and tear on my region free player the better. If it breaks, not sure I could find a replacement easily in the future.

Not a clean solution though since you sort of need two hdmi cables to your projector unless you want to switch every time manually.

Perhaps you can explain your problem a bit more???

Your Samsung HT-J5530 HTIB isn't very flexible, with JUST L/R Audio and Optical Digital Audio Inputs...and NO HDMI Inputs. However, without replacing it, it could still be connected to Optical OUT port on nearly ANY All-Region UD or BD-Player...with HDMI connected directly to DTV:

BTW: You could continue to use HT-J5530 HTIB to play Region-A discs and simply buy ANY BD-Player that plays Region-B & PAL Discs....which might be less expensive than an ALL-Region Player. And there are HDMI Switches that operate AUTOMATICALLY:

Ok, here are my attached Samsung player.
So are you suggesting that I keep my player & just buy another (RegionB or whatever) player, keep on top of my current player and then connect both Samsung players Via HDMI Switch?
Means, whatever Audio/Speakers connected to my old player will still play Audio playing a disc in a new player? or I need to change any connection here?

Your existing Samsung HTIB has a built-in BD-Player and HDMI OUT, connected to your DTV for Video Playback:
http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/co...FRA_180731.pdf

Since it does NOT have any HDMI Inputs, what you CAN do is to connect a second (Region-B) BD-Player to the Optical Input for Audio and connect it's HDMI Output to your DTV. If you don't have a free port on your DTV, then YES, you would need an HDMI Switch to select either the HTIB or the new Region-B BD-Player. Samsung's Optical Input [External Digital Audio IN] is just to the LEFT of your HDMI OUT connection, as viewed from the back.

The FUNCTION Key on your R/C (Top Right) is sequentially depressed to sequence through ALL of your different Sources....I think that Optical is called "D. IN" in your Manual [i.e. Digital Audio IN].
