NVIDIA ending 3D Vision support in April 2019.

Been a fan of 3D Vision PC gaming when I first used it with a DLP TV set back in the late 2000's. Sad to see official support going away but not too surprised.
Here is thge quote from NVIDIA..
"Following the posting of the final driver from Release 418 in April 2019, GeForce Game Ready Drivers will no longer support NVIDIA 3D Vision. The NVIDIA support team will continue to address critical driver issues for 3D Vision in Release 418 through April, 2020. Those looking to utilize 3D Vision can remain on a Release 418 driver.

Our software that enables the use of 3D gaming with 3D TVs, 3DTV Play, is now included for free in Release 418. It is no longer available as a standalone download. Our 3D Vision Video Player will continue to be offered as a standalone download, for free, until the end of 2019."

Well that stinks.

Does this mean one will no longer be able to watch a 3D BluRay using NVidia drivers following this release, or is this limited only to the 3DTV PLay which I think was a 720p60Hz gaming software.

(NVidia's branding on 3D has always been a mess.)

After installing todays new driver, 3D video is no longer supported. Using an older standalone 3D Vision installer or editing it and 3D USB drivers into the new driver installation package resulted in errors for me. Windows 10 display properties and the nVidia Control Panel no longer shows 3D as an option. I reverted back to older drivers that meet my demands. https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php...560#pid2848560
