I'm experimenting with some CFI software (SVP), and wanted to see what would a frame packed 3d blu ray interpolated at 60Hz look like, even at 720p.
The software in conjunction with MPC BE (x64) allows to play a 3d blu ray without reincoding it, but this process transforms it into TAB: http://www.svp-team.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=4163
The first obstacle would be to get the player to stop jumping to [email protected]
when playing a 3d blu ray. I would need to find a player (or renderer) that can play both 3d ray's and support SVP: https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/Manual:Video_players
Pot player is on this list, but I believe it still uses lav filters plus madvr to play 3d blu ray's. Vlc can't do it.
Second obstacle would be to interpolate the video from 24 to 60Hz. Transcoding, which re encodes the file does not produce a 3d image. The file was a 3d mvc mkv sample. Haven't tried a .m2ts yet.
DmitriRender is another CFI software, but this one supports MPC HC and Pot player only.
At this point it's more of a curiosity, since it's difficult to make it work. Not sure what this feature [email protected]
FP is even for if there's no content for it, gaming?
Thank you for the offer, but I would need to find a way to make 3d blu ray's work, don't know if that type of file would be instructive.
