3d capable projector

Hi all

I am new to this forum and please forgive me for any mistakes.

I have one cheap projector with native 1080p. I bought it from one of the local vendor who has no clue about the specs. Now I want to check if this projector is 3d capable.

Why I got this doubt is when I can connected to laptop I observed the recommended display resolution showing as "1920 x 1080 Recommended, 3D".

But i couldnt see any 3d settings in the projector. I also tried my laptop with different projector. But its not showing 3d. So how dl i know if my projector is really3d capable...if yes want kind of glasses that i use and how??

What is the make and model of the projector--should be on a label in the back of the projector. Let's start there.

Hi, I am afraid that model can't do real 3d, only anaglyph videos as well as for every 2d screen. For real 3d you need something like dlp benq, optoma, or 3lcd epson, compatible with active glasses, maybe used or refurbished.

Epson TW5350(HC 2045), Darbee DVP-5000S, Himedia Q5 Pro, Sony BDP-S6700,
3D RF glasses: Epson, Samsung, Xpand. Fuji FinePix REAL 3D W3, LG Otimus 3D Max, 3D Tablet F892B

Agree. But when I connected my laptop it is showing "1920 x 1080 Recommended, 3D".

This is where I got doubt why the recommendation is for 3D. When I connected my laptop to EPSON EB X05.. the recommended settings again different where it is not showing 3D.

This is the reason I got doubt if my chinese projector supports 3D (Not Red Cyan)

If that is one of those 100$ pj it doesn't support 3d, and that '3d' is just one of the many false or tricky claims (we just meant anaglyph!) together with 3000/4000/5000 lumens they claim. If you have an epson you surely know the huge difference! Otherwise if it is a better pj than I thought, you may post more info and specs or a picture to identify the model somehow...

It is a fake, and known problem, there are many unfortunately.

Compare the brightness of that fake 4500lm with this true 2500 color lumens...
