Klipsch R-10 or R-20B?

I have a friend who is looking at these two soundbars and wonders if there is an $80 difference? I also would be curious if there is anything else comparable in the under $400 range? Thanks.

Consumer Reports tested a bunch of bars about two years ago, only 2 did better than mediocre in SQ, one was Sonos, but the other was the older version of this. Well under $300.

You can add this to make it 5.1 A little over $400 total new, or less from Ebay or refurb.

https://www.ebay.com/i/182636821430?chn=ps&dispItem=1

After I went to Crutchfield, I found out they had both on sale for $400 until August 12.

Follow the prompts, and it will drop to $400 in the cart.

Klipsch didn't do well, but the ones they tested were lower models than the ones you were looking at, I think.

As @Scars pointed out on the Klipsch thread, the R20 is on sale for $400 at Crutchfield, about 1/2 off, and the user reviews there for it are very good.

Thanks @Schwa and I will post a link here to that recommendation: https://www.avsforum.com/forum/89-spe...l#post54558520

Another option is to track down an Icon SB-1 soundbar. It's basically the same thing as the R-20B minus Bluetooth.
