Question Best Passive LCR Soundbar (for Large Screens/Rooms) in 2018?

Debating between GoldenEar SuperCinema 3D Array XL versus Next Level Acoustics Fusion Reference/Theater Soundbars

https://www.goldenear.com/products/supercinema3d/

https://www.nextlevelacoustics.com/f...ence-soundbar/

Any thoughts on these and/or others to throw into the ring?

There should be a review of the Fusion Reference available via hometheaterhifi shortly (https://hometheaterhifi.com/news/pro...oofer-preview/).

I'm waiting on a review for the Next Level Fusion Reference LCR as well.
At 66" it would fit perfect underneath my Z9D 75".
At $2500 I would expect it to be pretty killer. But I really want to hear an informed opinion - and unfortunately no one has reviewed it yet.
Btw- isn't that GoldenEar you mentioned more of a ALL-IN-ONE simulated Surround bar instead of an LCR?
DigitalAV likes this.

Sony Z9D 75"
Oppo 203
Denon Avr X2400H

Good question. From the specs and reviews, I'm gathering the GE is basically boasting such a wide soundstage that they tout it as "3D" and "surrounds optional," but it isn't actually reproducing multi-channel audio surround channel information in a discreet fashion (nor is it trying to bounce anything off walls, etc.). It's still a passive LCR bar at the end of the day, and pairing with surrounds are encouraged.

As far as the Fusion goes, I'm wondering if $2500 is for the Reference or if it's the starting/base price for the Theater. Perhaps @Lee Weber can chime in and clarify if he sees this thread.
