Replacement subwoofer for my Integra DLB-5 soundbar?

http://www.integrahometheater.com/Pr...rodClass#specs

I'd like to get a replacement soundbar for my Integra DLB-5 soundbar. The wireless sub it comes with is kind of dinky, it's 50w but it doesn't really put out much bass. The soundbar-receiver has a sub-out so replacement isn't an issue.

I was looking at the Klipsch R100-SW which is on sale for $179 right now. I'd prefer a 10" sub because it's in my bedroom which is pretty small.

Any suggestions?

Any sub will be better than the one that came with it. I’m sure the Klipsch is as good as anything else you’ll find for that price.

The sub that came with the soundbar has a much wider range (at least on paper). Does that even matter?

Good point – it might matter.

If the Integra sub operates all the way up to 200 Hz, it’s possibly because that’s as low as the soundbar speakers go. Thus, you might end up with a hole in response between 150 Hz (which is as high as the Klipsch goes) and 200 Hz.

Problem is, you might have a tough time finding a sub that works all the way up to 200 Hz. But, if the original one is as insubstantial as you indicate, you’re going to be happier with the Klipsch or any other decent sub.
