Question Best soundbar money can buy?

We're moving and thus abandoning my home theater. The new house has a large great room with a vaulted ceiling, dining room at the back, kitchen to the side. And just no good options for a home theater. Just various bad options.

But that's ok, i'd like the room to have a cleaner look without speakers and receiver all over the place.

In the future when one of my kids moves out i'll put the office in that room and use the den as a proper home theater.

So until them i'm looking at soundbars for the great room. Best I can get for the money. Must have atmos/DTS:X and support Dolby Vision. As well as earc. HDMI 2.1
I also like the ability to use my own sub(s).

I don't have to buy it now. Later this year will be fine. Or if there's something on the horizon for next year I can wait until then as well.

Right now my top choice is the Sennheiser Ambeo.
Sonos ARC is interesting. Though you have to use their sub and it doesn't support DTS(deal breaker). But I already have some sonos speakers and I get a discount on Sonos products.
Klipsch Bar 54 looks interesting.

Anything better out there or coming in the next year?

I would take a look at the GoldenEar Super Cinema. Pair it with a nice AVR and add a Hsu ULS-15 Mk2 subwoofer and you have a killer compact system for around the same price as that Sennheiser. You can hide the AVR using an IR repeater or Logi Harmony.

TV: TCL 6 Series 75"
Speakers: Hsu Research HB-1 and HC-1
Sub: SVS SB-3000
AVR: Yamaha HTR-4065
Previously Owned Equipment: Elac B5 and C5, SVS PB10-NSD

If I have to use an AVR then I would just use real speakers. There's no where to hide it unless I want a massive cable run to some closet in the house.

I suggest you the new JBL 9.1 Dolby Atmos soundbar.
