Seems best to watch in 2D in this case first so you know what to expect visually, or switching 3D on/off if you're not sure while watching. Certainly the style is pretty divisive judging from other people commenting on it, definitely pretty unique in any case. Once I got used to it it wasn't an issue for me after knowing what to expect.

That would require twice the time though... wish I had time to even watch it once. I hope to get to it eventually... in the next 3 years would be nice!

Wow I got lucky on this. My German copy arrived today. I did not open it because my plan was to return it. I went onto Amazon.de and notified them I was returning it. They told me to keep it and refunded my money back! That’s impressive customer service-Dam!

Yes, Amazon is quite liberal with giving refunds, and if it's from Amazon in Europe they won't care about getting it back unless worth a lot more. This is part of why Amazon is so popular and can get away with anything.

Got my German steelbook copy today and viewed a few scenes of it tonight. Overall the 3D ain’t bad but I wish they could of pushed beyond the screen a bit more with some of the action scenes. The cityscape scenes look beautiful and you get a great sense of depth during great dives from tall buildings. Still I can’t help myself from saying that the 4K presentation with all its HDR wonder comes kind of close to matching the 3D depth perception. The 3D beats it slightly with slight particle effects like snow falling on screen. Plus the occasional item standing forward to some characters standing behind them. Can’t wait to give it a full viewing soon. . . even with the German thought bubbles. It was a little weird but you get over it

Got my copy couple days ago, India version. As far as Amazon returns, I had to return Jivaro, it was broken badly and they still wanted it back. The disc was fine, but the case and artwork in bad shape. I could have replaced the case with an extra one from my stock but the artwork was ripped, so I returned.

Just an update for purchasers. Looks like the French 4k/3D combo is also like the German release in that the bubbles are in French and not English. Again this was from people on the blu-ray.com boards from friends. They had watched their 2d copy and was present on that disc, they haven’t checked the 3D disc yet but I would assume it suffered the same fate.

I got the "Includes Blu-ray 3D Disc and the case. Manufactured in Malaysia" version sold by Caspersmallstuff on ebay and shipped from Sri Lanka arriving on the first day of their estimated delivery dates.

This is an excellent 3D and the best way to see this movie.

Could someone please share how is the 3D experience on this movie?
Is it worth having in 3D collection? Any good Pop-outs or depth utilized?

Seems like most people don't think it's very good, because of lack of 3D depth (or "pop out") and intentional cross talk, etc. Still, can't got get a Marvel 3D movie which is why I got mine. Probably will never watch it given my very long back log of 3D movies to watch...

The 3D shows realistic depth and there are no pop outs. In the Malaysia version the few dialogue boxes were in English. I saw no cross talk which is probably a shortcoming of other's equipment. l liked there was some theoretical physics dialogue about multiverses and quantum physics which are concepts that became popularized long after I finished my education. I have been catching up.The multicultural characters and the emphasis on education were pluses. The movie is witty and colorful. I found it thoroughly enjoyable in 3D.
