You should be good, i think you just have to wait for your copy to work to the top of the shipping work load?? ive ordered a lot of 3d blurays from amazonUk and everything shipped in the time period specified. I think the priority items go first while at the same time they are shipping the less important items, even though 3d blurays are not less important to some of us

The UK website doesn't even show "Dispatched" yet, but the email said delivery May 6th. I preordered on Dec 29. My CC was charged the same day I got the email. TonyDP- check your CC charges. In the past, Amazon never charged the CC until the day it ships.

This is disappointing, and frustrating. I don't know if I would have pre-ordered this or not, but even now when I search for "Rise of Skywalker" on the Amazon.co.uk site the only physical release (like any physical release at all, not just 3D) that comes up is not currently available. And, today was the first time a physical disc came up at all and I've been occasionally checking there since January. After reading this thread (was quite honestly unsure what was happening with the disc releases for this movie), I was able to finally track down the Amazon.co.uk 3D listing as someone had posted the page address in one of the comments I found on an Amazon site from a different region. I suppose it'll probably only be a couple months before things have calmed down enough that they'll start shipping out of the UK, and I'm sure there'll still be copies available, but still quite annoying.

My order has been dispatched with a delivery date of May 6th. I will now have the sequel trilogy all in 3D alng with Rogue One in 3D. They(sequels) are my least favorite SW films but they're OK. The 3D makes them better. . Rogue One is great though. Best Disney SW film and it isnt even close. Solo sucked.

Turns out my order was dispatched even though I never got an email from Amazon; instead I received a text message from DHL a couple of days ago, which I assume is handling the delivery. It's supposed to arrive some time today so we'll see how it goes.

Solid, but not as good as Force Awakens. I was hoping it'd be strong as FA since it's also Abrams.

Same here....I have never gotten a 3D title from Amazon UK so quickly from the initial notification date of dispatch! And I don't believe it has ever shown up via DHL delivery service before... mine have always shown up via USPS. Can't wait to check it out!

The only dark scene was the opening battle, much silhouetted. The rest was fine. 3D was excellent. Was not IMAX AR, rather 2.35. I was hoping for full screen 16x9. Anyway I enjoyed the movie much better experience than in the IMAX theater (unusual for IMAX)

My copy arrived yesterday, just got thru watching it with my brother. 3D was OK, not as strong as Force Awakens but more noticeable than Last Jedi, which I thought had the most conservative 3D. Depth was noticeable but pop-outs were not as pronounced since the scenes cut so quickly. In terms of brightness, I never had trouble making anything out and the 3D effect was even pronounced in dark areas, so overall not as bad as some of the negative comments I've read in some reviews.

In terms of the movie itself, it's typical JJ Abrams: derivative story, lots of plot holes and sub plots that get left unresolved and paced so fast you don't have a chance to examine it all too quickly while watching it. That said, I was entertained and of all three sequels, this easily felt the most "Star Wars" to me and was the one I enjoyed the most. My personal order of this trilogy would be:

1. Rise of Skywalker
2. Force Awakens
3. Last Jedi

We watched for the first time yesterday. As noted by others, the movie is entertaining but unoriginal. Still, I can't complain since the latest trilogy doesn't really seem to be made for the original generation of STAR WARS viewers. We were so taken aback by a completely new kind of film entertainment back then, and that experience is just not going to be duplicated today.

3-D on my 65" OLED was noticeable but not impressive. Dark scenes were actually among some of the best in the film to display depth and mood. I'm glad I added the latest triptych to my collection, and that's not something I can say about the prequels.

To each his own, but I've got to say that I enjoyed the Prequel Trilogy far, far more than the sequels (Episodes 7,8,9). Yes the acting in the prequels was wooden and the pacing sometimes stilted, but at least the overall story and the characters within it followed a consistent arc from start to finish. Characters behaved as I expected them to and there was none of the deconstruction and subversion of expectation that the sequels wallowed in. I also have to say that, over-reliance on CGI notwithstanding, the prequels were better looking movies to me with more visually interesting sets and locations and superior action sequences and lightsaber battles.
