Finally got the 75Q80R delivered. Took 2 weeks to deliver from TN to KC, MO. Then the delivery company blew through the 4 hour delivery window and showed up at hour 6. F'ing pathetic shipping, even for free,

How has the purchase and delivery experience been for most people through Samsung EPP? I am considering the Q90R and the EPP price makes it considerably less expensive than competing TVs.
I had a flawless experience, with only drawback that a friend ordered for me so I couldn't directly track my order, and they got the Reward points (a very fair trade-off). I ended up going to the AGS shipping company they used here in the Bay Area and could track it.
How long after placing the online order did it take to get a confirmation email? I ordered through the Student Discount Program but I assume they are similar.
It has been 24 hours and still nothing, "My Orders" doesn't list anything yet either. The only indication I have is a pending charge on AmEx for $1.99.
Does is just take them that long to process or is it more likely the order didn't go through? I have chatted and sent a note to Samsung but they are no help, just say it can take up to 72 hours. I've never dealt with a company that didn't at least send a timely email confirming they have received your order.
Edit: I finally called and talked life again with Samsung and they could not find an order number or even my account although I am registered and was online while on the phone. Ended up placing the order again; still no confirmation email but the order now shows as in process on "My Orders" and AmEx shows the entire order amount as pending. Odd experience.
