75" Series 6 TCL $1500

Best Buy has the series 6 TCL 75" Roku TV on sale for $1499

I believe this is the best price it has seen and probably the best budget TV currently available.
Free Shipping or local pickup if stock permits it.

Yes absolutely. this is the price i was hoping the tv would release at originally. Deal is only good through saturday so Im gonna head to bestbuy here shortly and hopefully pick one up. This will end my 3 year search for a new tv lol. Im pumped! Was waiting for BB to drop the price of the NU8000 but ill gamble on the panel lottery for getting a brighter tv with better local dimming and dolby vision.

I would get this over the Q6FN or the NU8000 everyday. FALD > Edge Lit. About the only thing them Sammy's are better at is gaming lag. That and Samsung probably has better quality control / build quality.

For anyone interested, this deal is still going. Not sure if this will just end up being the de facto pricing for Best Buy or not, but on their website the price is still $1499.99. No idea if and when it will change.

Thanks, now I can't decide on what to get. My choices had been narrowed down to the X900F and the Q8FN, both in 65" . I want a 75" so I'll have to check this out at Best buy Saturday.

Saw this and came straight here... the page doesn't say Deal of the Day anywhere that I can see? Is this maybe just the new price to clear them out before the 8-series launches soon?

I know it's weird to drop $1800->$1500->$1300 in only a couple months, but it was an odd release time for the 75" and TCL' s prices are always so amazingly low it's hard to know what's what.

This is going to be hard to pass up. I've been in the market for a couple months now for a 75" and this is the best deal I've seen. Is this basically a no-brainer for anyone looking for a budget 75"?

Click on The Deal Of The Day tab at the top of BB's home page. I check it almost every day.

It sure is if you have to buy one today. But it really makes me wonder if the 8-series around the corner is going to be a significant leap up for somewhere around what the 75R615/17 started at ($1800-1900). The 6-series launched at exactly this time last year, was itself a big leap up for the price, and with "mini-LED" (basically a large increase in number of dimming zones) coming plus the potential for better quality control (it would seem the 6-series 75" launching several months later than the 55-65" had somewhat/significantly fewer dirty-screen-effect problems, so they may be improving on this) might be worth the wait for the $1800-$2000 segment... but yeah if you're looking for a 75" in the $1300 range just buy buy buy and don't look back.

Ah okay, just wishful thinking on my part then. I found it by googling "TCL 8-series" and this BB deal was the first product hit to come up. I never go to BB's homepage so I actually didn't even know about the deal of the day, shows what I know

The 8 series won't be available until after it shows up here. https://fccid.io/W8U

Past experience has been about 2 months or so after it posts it goes to market. You can sub to it and get notified whenever they register any new sets.

Ahhh wow okay thanks for the info. I knew about using FCC filings to see upcoming stuff, but I naively thought it was possible to show up there just like a week before it came out.

That means I might have to take my own advice and jump on this deal....

Can I expect a 75" or larger size tv at this price with better quality around the holidays/black friday? I have a 1080p tv now and have been thinking about upgrading, I keep my tv at least 5 years so I want to make sure I'm not buying when new tech is right around the corner.

Is the difference between TCL and the top of line LED's like Vizio/Samsun Quantum Dot or LG OLED night and day?

I would say for better quality, it's not going to be had at $1300, even on Black Friday. The new TCL 8-series will be better, probably mainly in terms of increasing number of FALD zones making better blacks, etc. There also could be some sort of faster processor, 120 Hz refresh, other small bells and whistles. Maybe brighter? I dunno, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this one. The absolute best-case scenario for 75" 8-series pricing by Black Friday would be maybe $1500? Even that seems pretty optimistic.

I wouldn't say the difference is night and day, except for possibly anything OLED. OLEDs in a dark room are really frickin' nice, but 65" ones are $1800+ and 77" are $4000. Plus there could be burn-in eventually depending on your usage, and they don't do great in bright rooms.

I'm a very happy camper this evening. My return window ends tomorrow, and I was able to secure a $200 plus tax price adjustment.

I just noticed this deal is only today, that puts a lot of pressure.

Are deals like this frequent? I haven't bought a new tv in a long time and don't want to miss out on a rare deal but also am not in a real hurry.

That was a slamming deal. A helluva TV for the money. It's widely agreed TCL has moved past most of their quality control thay have suffered from in the past and really, you can but their product with confidence.

It's great that people on a budget have such an awesome option.

Those who scored one...enjoy it. My father in law ordered the 65" on my recommendation for 699 since their space is small and the 65 will be huge for them. although the 75 was the better deal. 65 is still available at 699 I do believe

I just pulled the trigger on the 75 inch. I am pretty nervous about it being fulfilled by AMZ Fulfillment, but I just couldn't say no to the sweet price on Amazon today. It almost seems too good to be true. I figure if something isn't on the up and up I can always dispute it with Amazon/my CC company.

I have a Sony 900F and I love it, but it is amazing how close the TCL comes for half the price or less!
