Massdrop?

Does anyone here have experience buying TVs from Massdrop? They have the Samsung Q80R for 1800 which is the best price I’ve seen so far. Is it too much of a risk to buy through them or has anyone here had a good experience?

I have bought a lot of things from drop.com without issue. but a tv I wont buy online. it has to be local for me so I can return it easier if issues with display. I usually buy from sams club or costco.

A lot of people have had success with massdrop but if they don't sell enough of the item the drop may not proceed and they can end up holding your money for a couple weeks before refunding it. Not that big a deal but it seems to really piss some folks off. But thats worse case scenario. That is an excellent price on the Q80 65"

If you have EPP Samsung reduced QLED prices today. The 65" Q80 is 1699 I think although not sure because I no longer have access to EPP. Someone posted following on Slickdeals

Q70R 75" is 2049.99
Q80R 75" is 2399.99
Q90R 75" is 3199.99
Q90R 82" is 3999.99

Thanks for that feedback guys. I don’t have EPP I’m afraid. I have [email protected] but I don’t think that’s the same because the 65’ Q80 is still 2299 on there.

Would love to buy it directly from Samsung though so I know they’ll honor the warranty. Maybe I’ll wait to see if those prices hit [email protected] too.

I've not bought a TV, but I did buy a pair of headphones and some ultralight backpacking gear from them and had no issues.
