VIZIO P-Series Quantum X 65" $1,399 @ Costco

Per site page: $1,399.99 pricing good through 7/18. This was the same price as the 2018 P-Series Quantum for Black Friday, as reference.

Yup. Right after the RTings review showcasing some major flaws. I'm glad I didn't scratch my itch when I saw this was coming out. I was very tempted.

My main complaint (as a possible buyer) reading the RTINGs review was the switch to 120 Hz, but your PQ65-F1 also is supposed to have the same change. Do you find it objectionable? Or objectionable with certain types of input signal?

Rtings posted their video review today on their YouTube channel and stated the performance between the 2018 & 2019 units is almost identical, aside from 2019 having doubled the dimming zones and having a slightly wider color gamut. So, it's essentially the same TV but with less blooming, which was one of the largest complaints made against the 2018 (2018 each zone was 2 LEDs for 192 zones, but now each zone is 1 LED for 384 zones). It has horrible speakers sure, and didn't hit the advertised 3,000 nits, but is still exceptionally bright. DSE, contrast ratio, etc., Rtings attributed to variance between panels/panel lottery. Either way, each consumer needs to do their due diligence and make the best purchase for their specific need. For those in the market, I'd say it's a good deal.

I was also curious about this, as it sounds like it was a firmware update that changed it. Wonder what the reasoning was, interesting.

I just applied through cosctco.com for a second price adjustment. At the current sale price the PX65G-1 is less then I paid for my old 2015 M65C-1.

VIZIO P-Series Quantum X 65" $1,399 @ Costco

Ordered my PQX65 online on 7/8 when it was on sale for $1699.99 at the Costco and $1499.99 online. I saw that it dropped to $1399.99 and went online and applied for price adjustment. Mine arrives tomorrow. Hard to beat at this price.

I just went to Costco and saw it available at 1249.00 until tomorrow, August 4th. Amazing! Too bad for me I already have a regular P Quantum and it's hanging on the wall. Oh well.

Thanks for that. I just put in for another price adjustment. Don't see this or the 75" on the site anymore. Both sold out?
