Wonder Woman 4K UHD Blu-ray

Wonder Woman 4K UHD + Blu-ray + Digital HD on Amazon.ca for $29.96 CAD, for pre-order. That's US$23.68 with the current exchange rate.

https://www.amazon.ca/Wonder-2-Disc-...s=wonder+woman

I think that may be a mistake, considering that $29.96 price is exactly the same but in US$ on the Amazon.com US site.

https://www.amazon.com/Wonder-Woman-...s=wonder+woman

Anyhow, I've got my pre-order in at the CAD$29.96 price. Added some paper towels as a filler to get the total order to $35+ for free shipping in Canada.

It seems the pricing is the same at walmart.ca as well. Thus, I am wondering if the distributor in Canada were the ones that have messed up the pricing. It would be great if Canadian prices reflected the same numbers as US pricing, but that rarely happens. Usually, big Hollywood blockbuster 4K releases launch at CAD$34.99 or higher.

Yep, it seems pricing was messed up. Now that Amazon has an official Wonder Woman launch date for the UHD Blu-ray disc, the price is CAD$34.99.

Glad I got my order in early.

FWIW, the 3D Wonder Woman is the same deal with the Canada/U.S. pricing.

imo $30 and $35 is just too much for a movie. I'm going to be waiting for a lot of 4k stuff to hit $20.

Best Buy $9.99 BF. Live for Elite now.

I'll stop ripping my BDs when I can put them in and watch the movie without trailers, warnings, cutesy menus...

Did anyone find it at their local BB?

You can't order it online and I didn't even see a sign for it at my local BB. I went in about 9:30 AM local time so maybe it was all bought but I suspect they didn't even have inventory.

My local BB shelves were a mess this morning (Saturday). The only Wonder Woman I saw was a standard Blu Ray. Not marked as UHD, HDR, etc. The packaging is different so that might be the one seen as advertised at $9.99? The UHD HDR Fascinating Beasts was $14.99 so I grabbed that instead.

I managed to get it online right when the sale went live. Got all the $14.99 ones I wanted to. I noticed by the morning most were no longer available to purchase online.

Hmm, on my browser, it says "In Store Only" so I can't even click it to put it in the shopping cart.

I'm pretty sure they all switched that way after being sold out online.

Well I've been checking before BF even started. And it was always In-Store only for me, even when they gave those BF sneak peaks.

Oh well, I don't have a UHD Blu Ray player or UHD HDR TV yet but I figured for $10, what the heck.

Maybe a year from now, they'll have more sales of UHD discs.
