Well now I just have to send it and paint it. I have tested 3 different paint in a can and by far the best looking one is black plasti dip.

I am going to wrap it in dark brown pleather on the sides and top to match our leather sofa and the front and back sprayed by black paint.

That's the most important spot to put it.

I have a question: I'm running 2 martycubes. One on each side of my couch. I want to properly tune/calibrate them and I have a few options...since I have the Inuke nu3000 (no dsp).
1.- sale the nu3000 and get the inuke3000dsp
2.-keep the nu3000 and buy the SVS AS-EQ1 - Audyssey EQ for subs (400$)
3.-buy a new Onkyo tx-nr 818 with xt-32 , does only single sub set-up (not individual like when you have the SubEqHT) from what I understand, so far...(700$)
4.-buy a new Onkyo nr-3008 with xt-32 and subEq HT (1,000$)
note: my current Onkyo tx-nr806 only has audyssey XT...

This is complex subject and any input as to how to get the most out of my new found bass is greatly apriciated. Martycubes are awsome!!!

Then you can use REW to auto equalize the miniDSP. How sweet is that?

Does the mini dsp handle multiple subs the same way berhinger DSP model does? Price wise both options (new 3000dsp vs new mini dsp) are very close...Is there something that have a more advantage or disadvantage then the other? ex: I currently don't have a high pass filter in my set-up , so that as to be a priority before I crank the volume up!!

I find the minidsp very flexible. It handles all 4 of my subs perfectly. It can do everything the dsp built into the amp can do plus if you decide to add a few more subs later your covered. You also don't have to deal with the hassle of selling your old amp.

Well you do bring up a good point. I have the Energy Audissey 5+2 and right now the twin 8ich subs in each of the tower speakers are being powered along with the rest of the speaker(not bi-amped). From the Onkyo nr806. Now I would like to get another Inuke in order to bi-amp and have them calibrated also with the mini dsp. I then would have 4 subs. One in each corner with the two marty cubes being nearfield by my main seating couch. The problem is can this kind of set-up be a technical nightmare or have actual benifits? My room is in a basament and measures 16ftX20ft with 8ft ceiling. What are your thoughts???

I will get on those this week, just wrapping the box in leather tonight and tidying up the room from all the extra wires and equipment that go along with a DIY.

Quick question - I have a Mach 5 IXL 18.2.2 and Behringer EP 2500 still unused from a LLT project that never happened. Would these be good with the Full Marty or Mini Marty flatpack?

Yes of course, they'd work great with either box.

I did the sub crawl a day ago and I now bow down to the all mighty Martycube...oh my the bass is phenomenal.

Thank you Donny for the flatpack. The wife says it looks good and sounds great once I painted it to match the rest of the decor in the room.

It blows my mind how moving the cube 10 feet diagonally changes the sub from next to nothing coming out of it to earth shattering experience.

I'm glad to hear your feeling the thunder !!!!!
No matter how good a sub is it can't overcome room nodes. Its too bad when people are limited to one spot. You should take some measurements of both locations and post them.

I may have to do that...just need to give my back a break from moving this monster around. Still awaiting the arrival of my mic was to cheap for the express shipping.
