Howdy chalugadp,
Just bought a pair of those discounted si-18" woofers and read you might have flat pack boxes for sale.
I tried to PM, but no go since I only have 12 total posts

How did you get them? I have been checking daily and have not seen any B-stock's listed at all.

Also, up your posting "game", this is a great forum with lots of helpful people

I simply posted links to those sales. I never received any of the profits. But people could invest those savings in flatpacks for sure

Any chance of a Max Marty for the new Mach Five 21" LTE driver?

http://www.istonline.ca/mach5_ftw_lte.html

Any thoughts about how that would perform?

Already made one but size is huge (25cuft) and that makes shipping pricey. Would hit 120dbs.

I don't actually have martycube. I have one Minimarty and three microcube. Pm me if you want to have a listen. With no shipping flatpack for you is really cheap.

It would work but that driver can handle 1400 watts so leaving a couple dB's on the table.

Part express tells me it 900 RMS, might need to bump up to the nuke3000 i guess.

Depends upon how you listen. Remember you will probably want to eq a bit and that takes watts. Always better to have some headroom.

Hi Chalugadp : I am at the stage of hooking -up my sub/driver SI18 d-4 to the speakon connector. I am using the behringer 3000 amp (no dsp) in the stereo mode ( two martycubes). What is the good way to do the connection from connector to driver? I am a little confused with it all. thank you, Matt from Ottawa, Ontario : ) , brrr it's cold here...

Chalugadp: "When running one driver on each channel in NON-BRIDGED MODE, 1+ and 1- will be used. 1+ gets connected to the positive/red on the sub and 1- gets connected to the negative/black on the sub. in NON-BRIDGED MODE 2+ and 2- are NOT used."

Just so I understand , the red and black are connected to the same terminal on the same side of the driver and the second terminal WON'T be used ? Again I am using the Inuke 3000 in stereo mode driving two Martycube's SId4. thank you, Matt.

Yes you only use 2 of the four connectors on each sub.

Hi Chalugadp: I am done with my build and wire hook ups. before I screw in my subs, is there a "filter" that I need to have somewhere in the chain of power leading to the driver? My set-up is LFE leaving my Oykyo, splitter left and right channels to the Inuke 3000 (no dsp) , and then stereo out, to the martycubes (pair of them)...thank you, I just want to be sure I am not missing anything before I "power up", Matt from Ottawa.
