FS Original PSA Triax Sub $1375

Serious family illness forcing sale of my beloved Power Sound Audio Triax. Best sub I have ever owned. I am the original owner and there is over 2 years remaining on the warranty. Zero issues - not one single problem ever. $1375. I listed this yesterday on Ebay & Agon.

Due to the weight of this monster I cannot ship. This is for sale in Southwest Florida or I can deliver for a fee within a reasonable distance in Florida. I prefer cash on pickup or delivery but will accept PayPal with 3% added.

Thanks for looking.

That is a steal of epic proportions. The amp is almost worth that much.

Sorry that you have to sell

Thanks for all the very kind replies. I'm not surprised though, as this forum is like a 2nd family for me. For the individual who asked for pictures and my zip code - I can get some pictures tonight when I get home and include all 3 drivers and all grills - everything is perfect. My zip code is 33914.

As for being way under-priced, I do realize this (and it hurts) but my situation is dire right now and pales in comparison to the reality of what is happening. My Dad is terminal and although things will work out for us down the road a bit, right now we are overwhelmed with so much expense coming at us and so much to deal with. It is truly a nightmare.

Please keep the invaluable advice & suggestions coming - it does mean a lot - trust me.

Thanks again to everyone that has responded so kindly.
Best Regards,
Bill

Not surprisingly, I received an email from Tom V. at PSA who confirmed that he will stand behind the remaining warranty to whoever eventually purchases the Triax. This is one of the reasons I made the purchase in the first place. You cannot beat their customer service and their loyalty to all their customers. First class all the way.

MY deepest condolences. Lost mom to cancer in 2000, today I took a day off from work to drive 1.5 hours each way to take dad to a procedure related to a bad stroke 2 years ago that has left him homebound. Luckily I have 3 siblings that live within 20-30 minutes of him.

GLWS-Like others here if within distance I would be all over this. Hmmm, my g/f snowbird parents just drove up from Florida 2 weeks ago-kicker is that they would not have understood what they might have been carrying for cargo LOL

Maybe you could request an empty box for the Triax for shipping. Even with an additional $200 shipped, I'm sure it will sell super fast if it can be shipped. Not to mention backed warranty from PSA.

I guess I can ask. Thanks for the suggestion. But if I remember this came strapped to a pallet. Always worried about shipping something so heavy. I will ask Tom.

Is there a reliable shipping company that I could use and just add their exact charges to my price? I have never shipped something this heavy.

Tom uses fedex. I have heard of people using uship.com

You will need a pallet to ship it.

Tom uses Fed-Ex for anything that's not super heavy ground freight. But for the big stuff he uses a carrier. He used R&L Carriers for my 2nd V3600. I think that's who he goes with for the stuff needing a pallet.

You are right. I even saw RL carrier slips sitting on their desk today when I was there picking up my speakers. I was thinking JTR - they use fedex freight

The easiest way to ship it would be to get a freight company to band and pallet it.

Bill,

My condolences to your family. If you need some help, I can front you the money for the sub. I am sure it will sell and this can help reduce some of the stress of the situation. When you sell it, you can settle with me. Take care.

The compassion showed by so many here has me at a loss for words. I am stunned. Chris, I simply cannot believe the kind offer you have made. I have always been the same type of person, always willing to help others - never wanting anything in return. Being on the other side of extreme kindness just confirms that I have lived life the right way. I have a lot to think about tonight and I will reach out tomorrow.
