WTB: Harman Kardon Signature 2.1 amp

Purchased 2 of these off of other AVSers in the last month, now finishing off a 9.1.6 system with a third if I can find it (yes, I know it is overkill for atmos speakers, but they go for the same price as 3 new cheap stereo amps so I might as well).

Looking to pay around $275-300 shipped to 80026. PM with offers.

These are solid amps; I've owned these 2.1, the 1.5 200x2 sister amp, along with the lookalike Citation 7.1 and 5.1 amps.

This is a great way to get 15 solid amp channels for around $1k used. You should consider putting the Main L/R and Center each on the different amps to increase dynamic power for the LCR channels.

Good luck with finding the 3rd 2.1! They're on ebay and perhaps CL too. Considering their age, a 4th one could be useful as backup if these are your long-term amps.

MAN CAVE (5.2.4): Marantz 7704 prepro & Citation 7.1 amps(2); 5 Focal Solo6 Be active monitors, 4 Focal Sib (for Atmos), Earthquake 15" and NHT B12 12" subs, Vizio P65-C1 4K LED, Nvidia Shield TV 4K Pro, Oppo 203
GAME ROOM (5.1): Denon 5200W, Adcom GFA7607 amp, NHT Classic 3s/3C/2s, NHT W1 12" sub, Panasonic 65VT50 plasma, PS4, Switch, Wii, Roku, Oppo 981

I considered picking up something to dedicate to just my front LCR, but a third (or fourth) signature 2.1 serves both to complete my full 15 channels setup and serve as backup if one of the others goes down (and then I just pick up something else for the LCR)

That's what I meant. A solid 100x5 amp can usually do 180-200 watts into one channel. Hence, if you put the LF on amp 1, C on amp 2, and RF on amp 3...you'd have ~ 200x3 across the front LCR, as the atmos and other channels would not need as much power.

I have a couple of signature 1.5's in great shape, actually had them looked over and re-biased a couple years ago. Not sure if they would be of interest.

Thanks for the offer, but I need 5 channels and only have the rack space for one more amp
