UM18 Marty Cube End-Table (Seattle Area)

Down-firing UM18 MDF Marty Cube with mahogany veneer sides and the rest is hemlock. It has a four pole speakon connector and a fine textured Duratex baffle. Approximately 27"x25"x27". Finished weight is about 150# so local pick up only. I will help load into your SUV/pick up

A lot of time and effort was put into this project and I would love to get $600 but I'm open to offers. Need the funds for my Fi IB318 V2 IB build. The problem is I NEED that clean deep bass

Price opinion bump. Curious what you folks think is an appropriate asking price for this sub?

I'm more inclined to think this has more to do with the styling not the price. Speaking from my own opinion and being in my late 20's, that styling to me just screams old folks style. The light colored wood furniture went out of style decades ago. If it was a grey or white, or maybe stained a much darker color it might interest more people. But that's just me. I'm weird I paint all my speakers bright white.

I was wondering. In the more rural areas near Seattle, natural wood color is still a common design theme. Is this the general census that color/styling is what is holding this back from being sold? I would consider refinishing/painting for a buyer if necessary.

Hard to say. The speakon, wire and speaker cost roughly 300. Most people pay 60is dollars for MDF as cab material and around $30 in paint. Maybe start at $450 and go from there.

Good luck with the sale.

It looks like it would get pretty expensive to Juneau. I am not sure if this quote is accurate but the size quoted is based off of using a standard pallet. There would be additional cost to purchase the pallet and packing materials and then getting it to Seatac. I expect your total cost would be above $1k.

Are you selling this complete with driver or cabinet only?
If so what driver.

It may help to sell if people know these things.

Wow. I just realized I hadn't listed the driver used though it is visible in the pictures. Thank you for the heads up. It is an UM18 and is part of the package. I have updated the original post.
