Home Theater Sale! UM-18s, HT-18s (V1), Statements!

Hey guys!
Ive decided to go ahead and sell my currently HT setup!

I have tons of pics and build threads, so please check out my signature for tons of pictures. If many people just want pics here, I can post some soon.

Here is a list of what I'm selling and pricing. Please understand that I am very willing to bundle things together for discount as well.
Currently, there is no shipping as I want to stay as local as possible. Local is North East Houston area: Conroe, Spring, Woodlands!
The subs are HEAVY and large. They are about 49" tall, and about 26" deep/wide, but I will verify depth. But it will only be an inch or so edit

About the large cabs:
-estimated to be 6.5 cu ft internal volume
-each section is separate internally, but wired together via parallel.
-8ohm load per cab, the long term plan was to wire 2 cabs together back down to 4 ohms and running it off a speaker power amp or something of similar capabilities.
- these are used cabs, but are very very built and heavy. There are some minor surface scratches from moving, but nothing terrible or deep or anything like that.

EDIT: here is a link so tons of pics of the subs https://www.avsforum.com/forum/155-d...l#post55252352, the link I have in my signature. Post number 10 starts the most recently pictures.
EDIT: Someone told me there are no pics of the PA460s, PM me, and I will send you pics of the PA460s and Klipsch RP-280Fs

Everything is demo ready, but please serious buyers only. This isn't in a dedicated theater. All speakers and subs are in an 11x15 room, and currently using 10 18s in that sized room, so the subs hardly ever receive any "real" power lol.

SUBS
---------------------
Dual UM-18s in large (6.5 cu ft) cab: $650 each
- currently 2 available, 4 UM-18s in 2 cabs. Asking $1150 for both
- 8ohm load currently, can be changed

Dual HT-18s (V1) in large (6.5 cu ft) cab: $450 each
- currently 2 available, 4 HT-18s (V1) in 2 cabs. Asking $800 for both
- thats $950 for 4 18s built and ready to go
- 8 ohm load currently, can be changed

Single Dayton Audio PA460s in 4 cu ft flat pack: $125 each
- currently 2 available
- never been under any real power
- like new driver, no movies on drivers
- unpainted

SPEAKERS:
------------------------
DIY Statements designed by Jim Holtz. These are amazing speakers, some of the best I have heard. I get compliments on them all the time, even by people who don't really consider audio their hobby. These are in good condition, one little minor chip in the top corner of one of the speakers during a move.
$650 for the pair. And you'll be amazed at the sound.

Klipsch Reference Premier 280F (2 available): These are used as side surrounds about 2 feet from the MLP, so on average they are receiving just a couple watts during movies
Like new, only a few months old. No original boxes
$650 for the pair

Any questions guys please do not hesitate to ask!!!!!

I'm a new member this week. I wish I had a post count high enough to inquire on the 3000DSP. Would be interested if shipping these to 32259.

So these are wired in series with two drivers at 4 ohms for an 8 ohm load per enclosure? Parallel would give a 2 ohm load?

If you were closer.....the basement always has room for um18s.

I’m currently looking for local only at the moment guys.

I suppose I need to check everything to make sure 100%, maybe everything is in series. Tomorrow I’ll get a voltage meter on em.

Lol DJ, always doing crazy stuff man.

Mono, I believe the V1 is beefier, more low end, more xmax, and conservative power rating. V2 has a little more midbass, less xmax, pretty accurate power handling rating. I don’t have any graphs to post of the two together. V1 has cast basket, V2 has stamped. V1 has stronger motor.

Hey bgtighe

Hey bgtighe, I couldn't send a PM due post count.

we met at the HTG last year...

I saw your post selling pretty much everything.. Just curious which direction you plan on heading...

I got myself 2 Um18s' recently( yet to build ported Marty's)
I might be interested in taking some stuff off your hands. Let me know a good time for us to meet.

Nandu J

I might be stupid in asking, but are the flat pack UM-18’s are gone? As an aside would you sell just those UM drivers from the dual cabs? I’m in The Woodlands btw. Less than dilleigant about checking my messages here, however myusername at gee mail is a good email. Thanks, Matt

The single UM-18s are sold, the dual cabs remain. Currently looking to sell the complete dual cab.
