FTW-21 (Mach5 Audio) DIY 17cu ft Ported Subwoofer Pair

Well, we have already moved once with these and I have no desire to do it again. IMHO they are rather easy to move with hand truck. I have extremely documented the build process in my build thread, these subs were designed by John (LTD02) as he has graciously helped many design in the DIY community. I built these myself in extreme OCD fashion. I was then progressing to carpentry trade and am now licensed contractor in state of CA, hence these are well built. These would easily run 2.5k from one of the know ID direct sub companies. Prefer local only, I do have a connect for shipping but will charge a fee to build and pack these up. I actually just shipped a 40x76 pallet of JTR 215RT's to NY and that was 850 charge to ship. Much rather sell within driving distance or Sac area.

Dimensions: 24x24x76
Weight: about 220lbs
Driver: Mach 5 Audio FTW-21-34mm xmax
Connection: Nuetrik NLM4PR Speakon
Port Tune: 15.7hz
Cab Material: 0.75" MDF
Cab Finish: Triple layer Duratex
Glue used: 5.5 tubes PL Premium, every seam clamped until dried/24hrs+
Bracing: Massively braced window style

Price: Selling for cost of materials, 1150.

No drivers were almost 900, MDF/ply 140, duratex 70, destroyed router bit 22, PL 24, etc. I'm asking nothing for my labor which is what we seem to do and expect others to do in the DIY community. Was just talking with friend/audio acquaintance why we do this, we didn't know lol. I suppose the DIY community there is a vast difference in quality of work. I do carpentry for a living, these are well built and well documented.

I'm in Redding CA, we could be moving north near Boise ID but nothing is certain yet. There is another interested that way as well if I were to transport.

I suspect shipping 1-2 states away would not be terrible in costs if someone wanted to endure them.

I get it, trust me. I’m building 2 of the same as we speak but have room for another pair. Knowing the effort that goes into them, it was almost a sign coming across your sale.

I’ll follow along for the time being. Good luck!
