FS SVS PB-1000 (Chicago)

EDIT:

Up for sale I have a SVS PB-1000 Subwoofer. Great condition with no issues at all. It was purchased in late 2016 and has a little over a year of warranty left on it. It also includes the SVS Soundpath Isolation feet which costed an additional $50.

I am only selling it because I am going to a larger DIY subwoofer route.

I am looking to get $320 firm for it. Alternatively, I would consider trading it for a 3 / 5 channel amplifier or a Oculus Quest

Local pickup in Stickney, IL 60402

If you have a PB-1000 for sale, let me know and I might buy it off you instead of selling mine so I can just run these as duals for now.

I've been considering downgrading my PB-3000 to something like a PB-1000, I'm in South Bend IN. Let me know if you'd have any interest in a trade + cash for the PB-3000.

Possibly. Id have to measure and see if i have enough space as the depth may block a walkway. What are you looking to get for it?

I think $1,000 would be a fair list price for a straight-up sale, so I guess we'd be looking at the PB1000 + $600 cash to even that out. My PB3000 also has the isolation feet. I do *not* have the original box any more, that thing was massive. I *do* still have the pallet it shipped on if you'd want that for some reason :-).

Ok. I'll have to measure my placement but this sub might be a little too deep for where I need it to go. Is the sub just too large or too loud, or why exactly are you looking to downgrade?

According to google you're about 2hrs away from me. Drove out there last year to buy a custom built arcade machine and that was quite the drive, lol

Heh, well it *is* a big ol' sub, but I have the space for it. After owning it for about 6 months I just realize I'm using like 10% of its capabilities, if that, and I'd be perfectly happy with something smaller and less expensive. I'm kind of downsizing all around here, I just sold off my XPA-3 Gen3 today as well.

I just replied to your XPA-3 thread a little while ago as I just picked up Emotiva T2 towers and feel like they could use a little more power vs. just the Denon 3400H their currently running on. I don't push my PB-1000, and honestly its the largest sub I've ever owned, so I've been curious on hearing what larger, more powerful subs can provide as far as low end and tactile response

Let me measure my room later on and I'll see if its something I can fit without getting in the way. I'm cool with the price!

Sounds good, I'll hold off on listing it to hear back from you.

Man, the T2/XPA would have been a perfect pairing. I had a pair of T1s, also powered by a 3400, for a bit (before I had the XPA). There was a definite improvement just by using the Denons pre-outs and plugging in a beefy old Boston Acoustics receiver (~51lbs of muscle) I had laying around.

Anyway - send me a PM when you know if it'll fit or not and we can go from there.

Yeah I saw that post a little too late. That was an extremely fast sale, lol.

Will do! I'll be home in a few hours and will measure and figure it out then
