Two DIYSG HTM-8 speakers fully assembled and finished in satin black. Used the CNC cut flat packs and pre-assembled crossovers. Lined with denim insulation. The area inside the ports is painted black so the port holes are black without any visible materials inside.
HTM-8: $599/pair SOLD
Sensitivity 94 dB 1w/1m
Impedance: 8 ohm
Power handling: 250 watts
Frequency response: 70-20KHz +/-3dB although they extend much lower in my room(Audysey sets them to 40 or 60) so perfect for crossing to subs.
Fusion 8 center channel: SOLD
These speakers will easily play very clean and clear to reference level even with AVR power. Frequency response is extremely accurate and very even across a very wide seating area for superb sound quality.
If someone wants a great set of DIYSG speakers for LCR without all the work involved, here is a turnkey set at cost.
Prefer local pickup SW PA but will ship at buyers cost.
Here is an image of my *in room* frequency response without any eq. This is with the speaker stuffed into a corner in a bookshelf resulting in the big peak in low frequency output. Obviously, applying eq below 500 Hz to flatten out this response will make the speaker +/- a dB or two out to 10K with a gradual decline(as is generally desired) above 10 KHz, but I wanted to show the native response of the speaker in room. Actually, this boost down low that had to be eq'd down by room correction simply results in much higher headroom in the lower frequencies.
For any serious inquires, I also have sweeps done at all seating locations of my wide sectional, which show a very smooth, consistent response across all seats. A *very* well designed speaker with an amazing waveguide.
