Arrow SOLD: Synology DS-1513+ NAS (network attached storage) with 18TB raw storage

All ready to go. Memory upgraded to 4GB. Five drives (4-3TB, 1-6TB) included and installed. The drives are heavy duty WD Red drives designed for NAS use. All SMART reports are green. This 18TB raw storage. Usable storage will be somewhat less depending on RAID configuration. Will need to be initialized and setup (like from factory but with drives already installed). I'm the original owner and have had this NAS for five years. Used for video and music server and backups, so not heavy use. Non-smoking house. Has run absolutely trouble free. Some of the photos have screenshots of status after I restored to factory settings. I took the drives out for photos and they have not likely gone back in the same order, but it will lead you through a setup routine when you first power up.

Included is the NAS with upgraded memory, the five drives, a couple of network cables and power cord, and drive door key. Original factory box and will ship double boxed to preserve it and further protect the NAS during shipment. Selling after upgrading to a new one.

Here's a link to the data sheet for full specs and info:

I'm no pro and can't offer support, but Synology has a forum that is very helpful. I will try to answer questions about general use, etc., in advance of sale.

Original price was $789 plus something for the memory upgrade. Buying the same drives today, according to Amazon prices, would be $584. Selling for $790 $725 for the whole shootin' match (as my father used to say), or best reasonable offer. A bit heavy at 21lbs due to the drives and double boxing. Shipping box is 18" x 18" x 13". Insured USPS Priority Mail to anywhere in the US is $80. I prefer paypal and will pick up the paypal fee.

Thanks! ....Pete
