Learn/Program Elite Screen IR remote into Universal Remote

Has anyone been able to successfully do this? I just bought an Elite Screens Starling Tab Tension 2 electric screen. It comes with both an IR and RF remote. I have a universal IR remote already (old Philips Pronto TSU 7000, I know it's ancient but it works well for me).

I'm trying to learn the Elite Screen IR remote into my Pronto, but it just will not learn. The pronto software just comes back and says "Failed to learn the IR code". I can learn from other normal device remotes just fine. Is there something special about the Elite IR remote that makes it difficult or impossible to have a universal remote learn the codes?

Thanks!

Have you tried the various learning techniques?

1. Hold button down while learning - most common method
2. single quick press of button
3. Place you hand or something that blocks the Pronto from receiving the other remotes signal. Set the Pronto to learn. Press the button on the Elite remote and hold it down. While it is being held down remove tour hand or whatever is blocking the two remotes from seeing each other.
4. double tap

The Pronto does have a limited frequency range for IR and it is possible the other remote is out of its range. Try those methods I mentioned if you haven't already and see if it works.

Sorry to revive this old thread, but I also just got an Elite Screens Starling Tab Tension 2. Can you post the Up, Down, and Stop codes if you got them to work? I have the Pronto TSU9400 that I'd like to use.

I never did get it working by "learning". The "learn" failed every time I tried it. Thanks @bluer101 for the codes. I'll have to give that a try.

I know this post was originally asking about a different remote, but the Elite screen remote is available in the Harmony database now. Up, down, stop all work great.
