Can Screen Frame Overlap Speaker? 16:9 vs 2.35:1

My speakers are in transit and now I am trying to figure out the AT Screen. I've read lots and lots about 2.35:1 vs 16:9 and I am still undecided. The HT will be 75% movies and 25% TV/Sports.

Here are the screens I am considering at this moment:

142" 2.35:1
158" 2.35:1 (with stipulations)
150" 16:9

As you can see in the attached diagram, the frame (3.15" wide) will cover a the horn and 12" bass speaker - almost in the middle of each. I assume this is a No-No... If its not a huge deal then I would lean heavily toward the 158" 2.35:1 screen.

Yeah, you definitely dont want to cover your tweeters with a metal bar.

I would say move the speakers behind your screen, then fix the wall. Shouldnt be that hard... hopefully.

Well you could go for a 200" 16:9. Or custom a ~170" 235:1.

Otherwise I would stick with the 150" It sounds like you spent a lot on audio. I wouldnt compromise it by putting a frame right over the tweeter.
