Best screen recommendations for JVC RS2000 (NX7)?

I'm looking into projector screens to pair with my JVC RS2000 (NX7) projector. I'm completely overwhelmed with all the options out there and the insane prices too. I have a dedicated theater room with zero ambient light and completely light controlled bat cave. I plan on watching only movies and shows with no lights on. I'm looking into a 108-110" diagonal screen

What are the suggestions for:

Screen gain - what is the best option in my situation of watching with no ambient light and best paired with the JVC RS2000 projector?
2.35:1 or 2.40:1 screen - Which should I go for?

Also, I've read about the Black diamond screen...is that worth it in my situation?

Check out the Stewart Cima Neve. I just bought one and have been very happy with it in my home theater. I went with the 115” 2.35:1 fixed frame screen (bought it from Newegg market place from world wide stereo I believe).

I would also suggest looking at Stewart as well. People are happy with the ST100, ST130 and Cima Neve. They say you date the projector and marry the screen. I think its worth spending a the extra on it. I tried some Black Diamond samples and found they weren't for me. Craig from AVScience hooked me up with Stewart samples to I could test them out before making a decision.

Thanks for the suggestion m0j0. I will take a look at Stewart Cima Neve screen. What screen gain is recommended in a completely dark theater? 1.0?

EDIT: Aah..I see it is a 1.1 gain screen material. What are the pros/cons of choosing a screen material higher or lower than 1.0. Especially if I'm in a completely pitch black viewing environment.

It’s advertised as a 1.1 gain screen but tests closer to 1.25. It was noticeably brighter than the Silver Ticket 1.0 gain screen I replaced. My projector bulb has over 600 hours on it and has dropped down in brightness about the expected 20%, so the bump in gain was perfect for my needs (I get 132 nits from my projector after a recent calibration by Chad B).

A little gain adds some punch to 4K HDR, and means you can watch a lot of things in low lamp. Screen shots on my StudioTek 130 -

I had a friend over that had never seen Alita and likes sci fi. He loved it ! He also said " this is the best home theater I've ever been in ". The Stewart screen and JVC 4K projector had a lot to do with that !

Great pics Craig. I see the advantage of having a little gain for the screen.

Sent you a PM on a deal that came up this week. Only one left so I didn't want to post publicly. Possibly an error in Amazon's pricing algorithm - their loss is your gain. If you don't want it though I'll post it for first taker.

What I had mentioned: Deal on 115" curved screen sold by Amazon

I have been casually in the market for a new screen as well and this came up in my suggestions this week. Too small for my room but might be a good deal for you. Amazon has some weird pricing algorithm for items they sell themselves that occasionally turns up insane deals like this. Usually $700-900 but dropped to $256 this week, now down to $250 today. As soon as someone buys the last one in stock Amazon will change the price.

A curved screen like this will give you barrel distortion without a lens, but if your throw is far enough you may be able to live with it. Unfortunate that they took out the pincushion correction on the new JVCs when they added DTM. I wonder if the per-memory zone convergence feature would still allow you to correct for it.
