Ideas for suspended screen on slanted ceiling

Gathering preliminary ideas for my 3rd floor theater. I have an Epson HC3500 (1080p 3LCD)...probably going to stick with this for now. However, the rest is all going to be new (screen, sound, etc.), and I'll put a few grand into it as my previous setup was sold with the last house.

So...the room is great regarding light (no outside light), but I have to mount the screen on the slanted ceiling. I'm looking for ideas for the screen setup. First step in my mind is how to mount the screen
  1. suspend screen from ceiling
  2. frame it out, ceiling to floor

With either approach I will need to do something about the left side entrance behind the screen...thinking just a fabric curtain. I was also thinking about L/R towers and the center channel and how they would factor into the process here. I could even frame with a lower box for the center. I could sheetrock and paint or hang a screen.

Just wanted to see how others may think about this...

Thanks in advance!

Some fixed frame screens come with eyelets on top, so hanging the screen would be a piece of cake !

That sounds like a great idea. A hanging fixed frame provides the rigidity...okay, going to take a look at that approach. Thanks so much!

I went with suspended. 120 inch screen. I ended up needing to mount the PJ on the other slant, but it worked out just fine. Next is audio.

That was my initial thought, was to frame it out...may go down that road, but going to ride with this for a bit. Good luck!
