Cleaning a Da Lite High power screen

Anyone have any tips?

It only shows real bad on white screen.

Definitely do not want to take the chance of ruining it .

I just did this last week, I wish I would have seen your post ^^^...Anyway, I used distilled water, micro fibre cloths (one wet, one dry), moving the cloth lightly from left to right. I'm going to try one more wipe with isopropyl alcohol/distilled water as suggested by Da-Lite, but it looks much better than before.

Peace and blessings,

Azeke

Thanks for the guide and vids.

I don’t have any bug or dirt spots it’s mostly just just light dust from over the years. Hoping this helps

It will, and you will be surprised at how dirty it really is once it is clean

HELLO i just cleaned mine with a damp micro towel just water. I notice even though my black level went up the color of black is more cool than warm. Day light in movies looks more like real sun maybe that is cooler too ? Contrast has jumped a good margin as my room has less light bonce. Also reds really pop that looks a lot more natural and all colors in general. Conclusion if you clean be ready for a much different picture. I am still missing what the dirt 2.8 combo did but also like what a clean 2.8 brings!
