Where can I find the latest firmware? All I can find is version 1.0 at Benq's website.

Do the low cost Phillips bulbs on the web work well with this BenQ?

Next day, turned on, after 10 min, it shuts off with code lamp damaged. So I figure I got a bad bulb. Contacted the company, they send me out a new one. Same thing happens! Use for a few hours and then it shuts off with lamp damaged code! Both replacement bulbs look fine, no burn marks, wires appear to be intact. What am I missing!?!?!?!?!?

Did you find a solution to this problem? I think I have the exact same issue with my 2nd hand W6000.

The previous lamp I had was a Chinese one. It also exploded. I used a vacuum cleaner to carefully suck all pieces of glass out from the projector. I replaced the broken lamp with a Philips lamp. It worked fine for 5 hours, then another day stopped working after 20 mins with the lamp damaged error code.

I'm trying to get a warranty replacement bulb, but I'm afraid that I'll damage that one as well if the issue is similar to yours.
