Can anyone recommend someone to install my new JVC projector and ISF calibrate in San Diego or nearby areas? Looking for the best..

Looking to do it this week if possible. I also have my Stewart motorized screen that needs to be hung.

thx,
Jim

I'd recommend you contact Stewart and get the number for their local rep which is MK Marketing. You can then contact the rep to give you a list of dealers in your area. This might be your best bet.

You can also go to the "Home Entertainment and Theater Builder" forum. Go to the "Dedicated Theater Design & Construction" thread. In that thread there is a Sticky for "Custom Installer Database". There you can scroll down to San Diego CA. There should be someone in that database that can put you in touch with a calibrator.

Jim: I would recommend if you have any interest down the road in the DIY vein to served as the "assitant" to the installer. Depending on the install, a second set of hands is necessary. When I hired an installer, I asked if I could serve as his helper. During the install, I asked a lot of questions on the process.

Going forward 9 years and I've completed all future changes on my own. The difference is I've made mistakes along the way and have had to "redo" some of the installs to correct my work. Live and learn. When hiring a professional, I'm sure they would have completed the work right the first time.

all thanks for the input on finding a local person to work on my projector. I plan to support the calibration of the projector.
