Thanks for your reply. Do you have a model number for the Sony glasses?

It is these ones here:

Looks like 99021 is the model number.

I was going to order some but they don't ship to the USA. Their price is much better than I have seen here.

Dont know if this helps or not:

This is the Bestbuy site in Canada, maybe your local Bestbuy could price match as it is all the same company?

I see they are $18 at BB US, worth a shot

Time to revive an old thread.

I have two pairs of the Sony PS3 3D glasses ($13 each on Amazon) and they work great, BUT I'd prefer some that sit closer to my eyes and have bigger lenses. Seeing gaps large amounts of light outside the lenses is quite distracting. Regular glasses fit behind the Sony PS3 3D glasses but I don't mind wearing contact lenses to watch 3D.

Light loss is real pain but otherwise I have to say the 3D experience is much better than I expected. Avatar was stunning on my AE8000 and a ~120" screen.

Hi guys... I am loving the 3D on my new PT-AE8000 so far. I read the manual though, and saw that there are TON of settings for 3D. Has anyone messed with any of these? I'm using everything at default and it seems pretty decent (using PS3 glasses by the way - they can be had for less than $12 a pair on Amazon). I am wondering if there are any tweaks I should try to make it even better?

Thanks for the Future Shop tip. I lucked out and got 4 pair for $7.99 each as someone returned them. Reason stated on the tag was buyers remorse. Is there any other glasses have larger lenses? Kind of tight on my large head.

Does anyone have an answer to this? Thinking about upgrading to this projector and can't seem to get an answer to this.
